Meet Radhika Matam
Radhika is an experienced Physiotherapist and she has graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Distinction. She is a member of Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) and a SIRA Workers Compensation (Workcover)/CTP (Compulsory Third Party Insurance) approved physiotherapist. Since graduating she has spent most of her career in private practice, Ramsay Private Hospital in Wangaratta and also has experience in Rehabilitation and Aged Care.
Radhika has undergone further education in McKenzie Part A and B spinal course that has given her extra knowledge in the spinal field to thoroughly assess your complex back and neck conditions and treat you with the most recent literature and evidence- based treatment. She also is experienced with acute sporting and musculoskeletal injuries.
Radhika uses the most up to date evidence-based physiotherapy treatments and is keen to assist people in setting goals and recover from their injury through exercise, manual therapy, education and lifestyle advice. Radhika is a Qualified and credentialed DMA Clinical Pilates Clinician. She incorporates sport and rehab specific exercises into her patient centered programs.
Radhika also has strong interest in Headaches and Migraines, Women’s Health and has undertaken further education (Australian Physiotherapy Association Level 1 and 2 qualifications) in this area.
Outside of work, she enjoys activities such as playing Badminton, gym, meditation, cooking, and reading.
