Meet Dr Abdul Rahman Alcheikh
Dr. Abdul Rahman Alcheikh graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Notre Dame Sydney in 2020. He subsequently worked at Liverpool Hospital, where he completed rotations in Neurology, Colorectal Surgery, Renal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Neurosurgery, Psychiatry, and Ambulatory Care.
Prior to this, Dr. Alcheikh worked as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Westmead Hospital. He also completed a Bachelor of Health Science with First Class Honours, which involved tracking head movements using motion-tracking technology in PET/CT imaging. He is currently a GP registrar with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and works part-time as a Career Medical Officer at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse, caring for surgical and oncology patients.
Dr. Alcheikh has a passion for general practice and is dedicated to helping patients improve their quality of life. His clinical interests include chronic disease, preventative health, mental health, minor procedures, and managing Workers' Compensation cases.
