About Myhealth Liverpool - UCC

Myhealth Liverpool is a Urgent Care Centre (UCC), providing care for patients from 8am to 10pm, 365 days a year. Over the last 12 months, the practice has grown to accommodate 13 practitioners, a number of nurses, and is pleased to welcome a new Nurse Practitioner to the team!

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic Urgent Care Centre team. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses looking to utilise their skills and experience within a Primary Care setting. Our roles offer flexibility, growth, and ongoing career development. This position is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the local community and have a direct impact on Urgent Care.

A day in the life:

Work closely with GPs to provide the best patient care
Conducting clinical assessments
Conduct comprehensive and accurate nursing triage
Organisation of clinical space
Assisting in procedures
Wound management
Other related duties as required

What we're looking for:

AHPRA Registration in Registered Nursing - essential
Hospital experience - essential
Accredited as a Nurse Practitioner
General practice experience - preferred but not essential
Excellent communication and strong customer service skills
Ability to work autonomously when required
Strong multitasking abilities and effective prioritisation of workflow.
Experience with Best Practice - desirable

What you'll get from us:

You’ll have the backing of an experienced Practice and Area Manager, as well as a Nurse Lead Educator, who will work closely with you to monitor and improve clinic performance. We also offer role-enhancing resources like regular training updates and group practice management learning sessions.
