    About the role

    We are on the lookout for a dedicated Practice Manager to join our close-knit and high-performing team at Myhealth Newtown! As a Practice Manager, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence while creating a supportive, team-driven environment. You'll have the chance to grow your career in a dynamic, forward-thinking practice that places strong emphasis on personal development and ongoing training.

    A day in the life: 

    • Collaborating with lead doctors to ensure smooth operational workflows
    • Overseeing the day-to-day practice operations with a focus on quality care
    • Facilitating inductions and in-house training sessions for new staff
    • Managing the diary scheduling system with the Clinical Team, including waitlist management and patient appointment coordination
    • Providing solution-focused management to clinic operations and doctor queries
    • Leading a team with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and patient care

    What we're looking for:

    • Experience in GP medical reception or practice management (essential)
    • Confident in taking on leadership and senior administrative roles
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience in managing nursing and administration staff (essential)
    • Familiarity with Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS, and Private Health Insurance billings preferred
    • Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills
    • A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for enhancing patient experiences and practice operations
