NOTICE TO ALL PATIENTS
Commencing the 5th of June 2023, Myhealth Rockdale will still continue to charge a GAP fee to reflect the Royal College of General Practitioners’ position statement regarding billing policies and consultation fees for general practice services. New rates will be in place from the 5th of June 2023 onward, subject to changes and additions, with appropriate notice. Medicare rebates are set by the Federal Government, and therefore are also subject to change, outside of our control.

Myhealth Rockdale is a Mixed Billing medical center conveniently located in Rockdale Plaza.
Our aim is to provide the highest standard of patient care with professionalism, respect, integrity, and excellence. We are committed to promoting wellness through disease prevention. We strive to achieve the best possible health outcomes for all our patients.
This brand-new, purpose-built center offers a full range of medical services with Physiotherapy/ Allied Health and Pathology onsite. We pride ourselves on offering a friendly, convenient, accessible, and professional service to all our patients.
Appointments and walk-ins are welcome however, patients with appointments are prioritized.
IMPORTANT: Whilst we make every effort to fit in all patients, we may NOT be able to take any walk-in patients around busy periods and closing hours.
*LONG APPOINTMENTS: Please call us if you have any inquiries regarding your bookings (eg. care plans, health assessments, iron infusion, excision, wound dressing, workers’ compensation, and child vaccinations). Unfortunately, we do not offer long appointments on weekends or Public Holidays.

TELEHEALTH APPOINTMENTS:
Telehealth Appointments are booked only via our website or your MyPractice Application. This is to ensure that your payment details will be protected.
All Telephone consultations are charged at $70.00 (no exceptions). We will send the online Medicare claim for your rebate on your behalf. Medicare will deposit to your nominated bank account. Please let us know if you want to claim this back yourself.
CONSULTATION (WEEKDAY RATES – Monday to Friday):
* 8am-5:00pm– $20 gap fee plus MBS item number (depending on the consultation).
* 8am-5pm – For Patients with Overseas Student Health Cover Insurance or Overseas Visitor Cover Insurance = $20 gap fee
*** We are affiliated with BUPA (OVHC/OSHC), NIB (OVHC, OSHC), IMAN, and AHM, (Medibank OSHC/OVHC). Please do not forget to bring your physical/digital card to swipe or tap or you will need to pay the whole consultation plus the gap fee.
CONSULTATION (WEEKEND RATES / Public Holiday)
There is a payment of $30 GAP FEE (out of pocket) plus the MBS item number for ALL GP Consultations on weekend appointments and public holidays for all Medicare patients including eligible patients.

*BUPA (OSHC & OVHC),NIB (OSHC & OVHC), IMAN,AHM & MEDIBANK (OSHC/OVHC) only to pay gap fee of $30
PRIVATE CONSULTATION FEES (without Medicare or Private Insurance):
Short Consultation – $55
Standard Consultation – $80
Long Consultation – $120
Extended Consultation – $150

Laser Appointment for muscular & joint pain – $20 plus MBS item number
Iron infusion – $120 plus MBS item number
Implanon Insertion – $50 plus MBS item number
Implanon Removal – $100 plus MBS item number
Implanon Insertion & Removal (together) – $100 Plus MBS item number
Cervical Screening – $50 plus MBS item number (NO GAP fee for self-collection)
Skin procedure/ Biopsy Excision – $100 & upwards plus MBS item number
