Who is eligible for a free flu vaccination?
Flu vaccines are provided free of charge under the National Immunisation Program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged six months and over, children aged six months to under five years, pregnant women at any stage of pregnancy, adults aged 65 years and over, and people aged six months and over with medical conditions that put them at higher risk of serious illness. Consult with your Myhealth GP to confirm your eligibility and learn more about what’s available in your area.
When should I get my flu vaccination?
To give the vaccine time to take effect, it’s best to get your flu shot as early as possible. Getting vaccinated early helps ensure you’re protected throughout the peak of flu season. Don’t wait, book your appointment today.

About Myhealth Zetland Medical Clinic
Welcome to Myhealth Zetland Medical Centre.
We are conveniently located on Level 2 in the East Village Shopping Centre. You can access Level 2 either by our dedicated lift (separate entrance on Defries Ave), or via the stairs located behind the pharmacy next to the centre toilet facilities.
This purpose built centre is fully equipped, offering comprehensive medical care to our local community. We pride ourselves in offering a friendly and professional service.
We offer a full range of health services including Dietetics, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Podiatry, and Specialist services (Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Cardiology).

For all childhood immunisations, please call us for appointments. We do not accept online bookings for childhood vaccinations, and are available only during designated weekday hours.

From 1 Oct 2023, existing Centrelink age pension card holders & Children under 16 with Medicare may be Bulk-billed (No Gap Fee) on weekdays (Mon-Fri) if registered with our practice on MyMedicare where eligible.
Bulk-billing applies for standard consultations only and excludes New patients, Saturday appointments, Cervical screening, Walk-ins, and Procedures.
Cancellation/Non-Attendance Policy
Please note that a $50 fee for weekdays and $75 for Saturdays applies if GP appointments are missed or cancelled with less than 3 hours’ notice. This fee must be settled before future bookings.
For allied health and specialist appointments, fees apply for changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice.

In addition to our team of qualified medical doctors, you'll also be able to receive comprehensive care in several specialist fields. Amongst these allied health professionals are podiatrists, gynaecologists/obstetricians, psychologists, cardiologists, and physiotherapists. East village medical centre also houses the Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology lab for quicker access to tests and results.
General practitioners can help with a range of symptoms and illnesses as well as provide medical check-ups for work or travel needs.
East village doctors do also provide an immunisation service for COVID and travel. Childhood immunisation appointments can only be made by phone, we are unable to take these online. If you require a vaccine appointment for a child, please call Zetland GP reception and we'll be happy to help you schedule the appointment.
Choosing East Village Doctors for Your Medical Needs
Zetland GP opening hours can be viewed at the top of this page. The clinic is conveniently located within the East Village Shopping Centre, at T51 Mezzanine Level. The location ensures there is ample transport available, as well as parking.
We also offer an after-hours service for patients at the Zetland GP. To access it, you can either download the Medinet app (available through an app store) or you can call the National Home Doctors Service on 13 SICK (13 7425).

Registering with a Zetland GP
If you wish to sign up with our East Village doctors, you can do so by clicking on the link to complete the new patient registration form. All new patients are asked to complete this to ensure they receive the very best service from their medical professionals right from the start.
If you require a doctor please contact the practice to discuss the availability of walk-in appointments.
Once registered, you can benefit from the ability to manage your medical information in one place. Using the Myhealth app, you can book appointments, track prescriptions and even more. To download, type MyPractice into your app store and follow the instructions.
