To our valued patients, please be advised that Myhealth North Lakes will be closing permanently with the last day of trading on Saturday 30th September 2023.
We made every effort to stay open and continue delivering quality care to our beloved community but unfortunately we have simply been unable to continue doing so.
If you need to see a GP, please contact our sister clinics at Myhealth Chermside by contacting: 0736680770.
If you would like your medical records to be sent to your new treating GP, please sign & complete a medical records request form at your new practice & the new practice can email this request to: northlakes@myhealth.net.au so that your new treating GP can continue your care.
Thank you for your understanding and we hope to be able to continue to service your healthcare needs at our other Myhealth locations.

About Myhealth North Lakes Skin and Medical
Myhealth North Lakes opened its doors in 2016 and is a Mixed Billing Medical Centre that offers allied health services in one convenient location. Our practice nurse is available Monday ,Wednesday, Thursday 9am-4pm weekdays for childhood immunisations and procedures. Procedures incur a gap fee that reception or the doctor can advise you prior to your booking.
The current services within Myhealth North Lakes include Dietician Services and Clinical Labs pathology.
Our practice is in Westfield North Lakes behind the Chemist warehouse East end of the shopping centre.
Appointments required, walk ins may be asked to return another time if no doctors are available.
For your added convenience we also accept online bookings.

OUR FEES ARE CHANGING
We no longer offer bulk billing for concession card holders. However, we are pleased to inform you that concession card holders will benefit from a reduced gap fee.
We will continue bulk billing for the following categories of patients:
• Patients under the age of 16
• Pensioners aged 65 and above WITH a valid concession card
Fees for non concession card holders are:

However, this is not applicable for Mental Health Care Plan or Care Plan related consults.
For consults where a gap applies please ensure you book for a long appointment for multiple or complex issues or else you will need to return after having only booked a standard appointment and will be required to pay the gap for each appointment. Please be advised standard consultation bookings are allocated 15 minutes; long consultations are 30 minutes.
We are very committed to providing high quality care to our patients and community. The reason for the introduction of a gap fee for some patients is the rising costs of running a general practice and the reluctance of the government in funding these higher costs. At Myhealth North Lakes medical centre, your health matters. Myhealth always offer accessible, friendly and professional allied health services, all under one roof. Plus, our North Lakes medical clinic offers accessible opening times for the convenience of our patients. Please check above for up to date opening hours.
A Wide Range of Medical Services Available in Our Purpose-Built Clinic
Our medical professionals also offer specific men's health and women's health services, including prostate checks, circumcision, antenatal care and menopause management. Plus, as a Browns Plains Family Practice, we provide children's health services such as assessments and childhood vaccinations. For the wider family, we can offer a range of immunisations, including Covid and Influenza vaccinations and travel vaccinations.
In addition to our team of doctors, we also have allied health professionals onsite at our medical centre in Browns Plains. These include a Dietician and a Podiatrist. Please note that our Allied Health & Specialist services can only be booked by calling reception on 3809 4555. You will not be able to make a booking for these services online or via the app.
Access to the MyPractice App
Once registered with our Browns Plains medical centre, you will be able to download and access the MyPractice app where you can book appointments (except for allied health professionals) as well as access your medical records, request prescriptions and medical certificates. The app is available 24/7 for your convenience and you can even check your pathology results in the app. If there are no appointments available at a time that suits you, appointments can also be booked at our Hamilton medical centre and Chermside medical centres.
