Dr Mithun Joshi

Qualifications: MBBS (Hons), FRACS (Orth), FAOrthA

Dr Joshi is an Australian-educated and Australian-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with international fellowships in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. He has an interest in Orthopaedic Trauma (fractures and acute soft-tissue injuries of the arm and leg) as well.

Before studying medicine and training to be an Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr Joshi worked as a Sports Physiotherapist in the United States. This allied health background allows him to value the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to the care of his patients.

Dr Joshi has a keen interest in research, education and training. He has authored multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented this research at local and international meetings. He keeps up with the latest techniques in Orthopaedic Surgery by maintaining professional memberships with various national and international subspecialty groups.

Dr Joshi is happy to look after orthopaedic injuries in both adults and children. He performs surgeries at Campbelltown Private, Camden Surgical, North Shore Private and Castlecrag Private Hospitals.
