Dr Wenjie Zhong

Qualifications: FUSANZ, FRACS(Urology), MS(Urology), MIPD(Edinburgh), MD(UNSW), BMed(UNSW), GradDip(Surgery).

Dr. Zhong is a Consultant Urologist and Robotic Urological Surgeon based in Sydney, Australia.  Australian-trained, Dr. Zhong holds the distinction of being the first candidate to receive robotic surgeon certification as part of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeon (RACS) Surgical Education and Training (SET) program. 

Dr. Zhong also completed an advanced fellowship in Uro-Oncology at a high-volume center within the North Bristol Trust in the UK, affiliated with the esteemed Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Dr. Zhong specializes in minimally invasive surgical procedures that offer patients less pain, reduced scarring and shorter recovery times, from benign conditions (e.g. Stones/BPH/LUTs/Circumcision) to uro-oncology conditions (e.g. prostate cancers/renal mass).

• Robotic/Laparoscopic surgery i.e. "Keyhole Surgery"
• Laser surgery for kidney stones
• Endoscopic surgery via the urethral opening to access the internal aspect of the urinary tract (urethra, prostate, bladder, ureter and kidney).
• Open surgery in cases involving advanced disease.
