Dr Aanchal Shankar

Dr. Shankar is a GP registrar with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Macquarie University. She completed her hospital training in Hornsby, where she developed a strong interest in women’s health, mental health, dermatology, and paediatrics. Her qualifications include a Diploma in Child Health from Western Sydney University and the RANZCOG Certificate of Women’s Health. She is also trained in Implanon insertion and removal through Family Planning NSW.

Inspired by the compassionate care provided by her childhood GP, Dr. Shankar values long-term patient relationships focused on enhancing quality of life. She is committed to delivering empathetic, holistic healthcare and strives to make a meaningful difference in her patients’ lives. Dr. Shankar is bilingual in English and Hindi.
