Dr Declan Twigg

Dr Twigg is a General Practice Registrar on the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners training program.

Prior to his Medical Career Dr Twigg followed a passion for Ancient History and Physiology in completing an Arts/Science double degree at Sydney University. He then studied Post-Graduate Medicine at the same institution for a further four years. He works part-time as an Academic for Sydney University teaching General Practice to medical students.

As a Junior Doctor he trained at a variety of hospitals including Royal North Shore, Hornsby Ku-ring-gai, Northern Beaches, and Children's Hospital Westmead. He is interested in all areas of General Practice with particular interest in Sports Medicine, Musculoskeletal Medicine, and chronic disease management.

In his spare time, he enjoys most sports (especially basketball, cricket, and golf), along with playing guitar and piano
