Dr Heidi Rasmussen

Dr Heidi Rasmussen is a locally trained Specialist General Practitioner with special interest in Women’s and Children’s Health. Heidi graduated with a MBBS from Bond University in 2013 and a Bachelor of Applied Science, Medical Science from Queensland University of Technology in 2006. Throughout her training at the Gold Coast University Hospital, Heidi underwent extra training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology; for which she provides additional skills in antenatal shared care, preconception counselling, fertility work-up, gynaecology, contraception and menopause management.

Heidi is also trained in sexual health and the provision of medical terminations of pregnancy.

Prior to Medicine, Heidi was a multidiscipline Medical Scientist working in multiple private and public medical laboratories throughout Brisbane for 7 years.

Heidi is a mother of 3 young children and thrives in the juggle that this brings with the provision of patient centred, preventative healthcare.
