Meet Dr Kenneth de Jong
Dr Ken de Jong graduated from Monash University in 2015. After his internship, he worked predominantly in surgery and orthopaedics at Eastern Health, Ramsay Health and Alfred Health (Sandringham.) He also taught anatomy at both Monash and Melbourne Universities.
Since 2020 Dr Ken de Jong has worked in emergency departments in both public and private hospitals around Melbourne, before transitioning to General Practice in 2026. He still holds a part-time position at Epworth Richmond Emergency.
Ken is happy to see all presentations in general practice and enjoys building rapport with his patients. He has a special interest in musculoskeletal medicine, acute presentations and preventative health. His focus is to be thorough and treat the whole patient to achieve the best possible health outcomes.
Outside of work, Ken loves spending time with his young family and keeping active with cycling and running. He otherwise has a busy social life and enjoys reading when the time allows.
