Dr Melanie Yassa

Dr Melanie is a GP registrar who completed her medical training at Monash University. She has since worked at Eastern Health and Gold Coast University Hospital in many areas including paediatrics, emergency medicine, adolescent psychiatry and obstetrics and gynaecology. 

Melanie is a caring and compassionate doctor who is committed to providing holistic care to her patients. She enjoys all aspects of general practice, with a particular interest in children's health, women's health, family planning and mental health. She is trained in Implanon insertions and removals , as well as IUD removals. 

In her spare time, Melanie enjoys DIY projects, exploring nature and spending time with her family and dog Leo.
