Dr Rajendra Gurung graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree Bangladesh. He has completed a Master in Orthopaedic surgery in Nepal. After moving to Australia, he has worked in the hospital followed by General practice in rural and regional Australia for more than 5 years.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He is also a member of Skin Cancer College Australasia. He has been performing skin checks, diagnostic dermoscopy and skin excisions, flaps and graft as a part of routine care.
