Dr Sylviya Ganeshamoorthy

Sylviya is a compassionate GP registrar who focuses of patient-centred, whole-person care. She believes good healthcare starts with listening and works closely with her patients to understand their individual goals, concerns and lifestyles. 

She has trained predominately in the Gold Coast, having completed her junior doctor years at Gold Coast University Hospital. During this time she focused on developing her skills in a wide range of specialties including emergency medicine, surgery, general medicine and paediatrics.

Sylviya is committed to helping patients make informed decisions about their health and strives to create a welcoming, respectful environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their health openly and honestly. 

Outside of work, she is interested in yoga, fitness, cooking, reading anything and everything and spending time with family and friends.
