Meet Dr Taylor King
Dr Taylor King completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne before undertaking a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Notre Dame in Sydney. She completed her internship and residency across Northern Beaches, Mona Vale and Hornsby Hospital and later worked at Royal North Shore Hospital as an Adult Basic Physician Trainee, with special interests in cardiology, gastroenterology and respiratory medicine.
Dr King later chose to transition to general practice to pursue her passion for holistic, community-based and patient centred care, while also allowing more time with her own family. Her hospital experience has provided her with a strong foundation and confidence in managing a wide range of chronic and complex medical conditions.
Dr King has special interests in family medicine, particularly supporting mothers and babies in the first five years of life, as well as in coordinating multidisciplinary care for older adults. She has completed a Graduate Diploma of Child Health and enjoys caring for patients across all stages of life.
Outside of work, Dr King enjoys spending time with her three children, practicing reformer pilates and cooking - especially Birthday cakes!
