Prof Lexin Wang

Prof Lexin Wang graduated from Peking Union Medical College and subsequently completed a PhD in medicine in 1998 from the University of Tasmania. He undertook further training in general practice in New South Wales and received his Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Prof Wang has expertise in all areas of general practice with a particular interest in chronic disease management. He performs skin checks and procedures for skin cancers.

He has been a senior academic for more than 25 years, leading research programs on new therapies for heart disease through his association with the University of Southern Queensland and two major university hospitals.

Prof Wang is fluent in Mandarin.
