Meet Alyssa Catakovic
Alyssa is a Registered Psychologist who supports people navigating a wide range of emotional, personal and life challenges. She aims to provide a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where clients can feel comfortable exploring what is going on for them and identifying practical ways forward.
She supports people experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, burnout, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, self-esteem concerns, adjustment to change and major life transitions. Alyssa also has a particular interest in workplace wellbeing and career-related stress, supported by her postgraduate training in organisational psychology.
Alyssa also has a special interest in fertility, reproductive and perinatal wellbeing, supporting people through fertility treatment, donor conception, pregnancy, pregnancy loss, adjustment to parenthood and the emotional changes that can accompany these experiences. She has also completed additional training in Perinatal Non-Directive Counselling.
Her approach is collaborative and evidence-based, with therapy tailored to the individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. She aims to help clients develop insight, strengthen coping skills and feel more confident managing the challenges they are facing.
