Counsellor Marie Farthing

Marie is a qualified mental health social worker, counsellor and specialised yoga teacher.

She has a Bachelor of Social Work, Bachelor of Social Science, Diploma in Community Welfare and postgraduate qualifications in counselling. She is also a qualified Yoga Teacher with advanced training in children’s yoga and specialist training in Yoga for Autism and Special Needs; Yoga for (dis)Ability, Yoga Therapy and Trauma Sensitive Yoga.

She has more than 20 years experience working in various fields of practice, including: children, adolescents and adults with mental illness, people with disability, carers support, bereavement, trauma, domestic and family violence, victims of assault, and older people.
