We are excited to welcome Dr Wayne Liao and Dr Abhi Selvakumar to our practice!
Dr Wayne is a friendly and thorough general practitioner who brings a well-rounded approach to patient care. After completing his training in Brisbane in 2019, he has developed a strong interest in all areas of general practice and is actively involved in medical education through his work with Griffith University School of Medicine.
Dr Abhi is a warm and approachable GP, dedicated to supporting patients across all stages of life. Her areas of special interest include paediatrics, women’s health, chronic disease management, travel medicine, and mental health.
Both doctors are now accepting new patients.

Pricing/Fees
Myhealth Blackburn Square is a mixed billing clinic. A gap fee of $40 applies to patients without a concession card on weekdays.
OUR FEES ARE CHANGING - Effective 06 October 2025
Dear Valued Community,
We wish to inform you that, due to rising operational costs, it has become necessary to adjust our consultation fees. This change is essential to ensure we continue delivering the high-quality care and service you deserve. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and ongoing support as we work to uphold our standards of excellence in healthcare.
As of 06 October 2025, the GAP fee for consultations with all doctors will increase from $30 to $40 (out of pocket).
Please note: Pension/concession card holders and children under 16 years of age will continue to be bulk-billed.
Non-Attendance / Cancellation Policy
NO-SHOW fee of $40 applies for ALL doctor appointments if appointments are not cancelled at least 2 hour prior.
NO-SHOW fee of $50 applies for ALL allied health appointments if appointments are not cancelled at least 1 day prior.
