PATHOLOGY & RADIOLOGY TESTS
Please note: If your doctor has requested any pathology or radiology tests, these may attract a fee depending on the type of test and the provider. The Australian Clinical Labs onsite operates privately, and fees will be charged to patients accordingly with their accounts team.
OUR FEES ARE CHANGING
FROM 01 August 2024
Dear valued community,
In order to keep up with rising costs and continue providing you with our services, we are now required to move to a mixed-billing model.
This means that a $40 - $50 GAP (out of pocket) fee will apply for GP Consultations.
Eligible patients will continue to be bulk-billed on weekdays only: Pension/Concession card holders except for Dr. David Cukierman and Dr Kevin Ng attract a fee and children under 16 years of age will be Bulk-billed,which applies to all GP.
GAP FEES APPLY TO ALL PATIENTS FOR ALL PROCEDURES AND SKIN CANCER CHECKS
- Starting 1 August 2024, a $40 gap fee (previously $30) will apply to all weekday consultations, including face-to-face and telehealth appointments.
- Starting 1 September 2024, a $50 GAP FEE apply to weekends and public holiday consultations including Face to Face and Telehealth for all patients and concession card holders
- $50 GAP FEE apply to same day Walk-in Appointments for consultations
Patients booking in with double appointment will attract a higher gap subject to attending General Practitioner.
What is mixed billing?
Mixed-billing means that most patients will be paying a “gap fee” for their appointment. A gap payment out of pocket cost between Medicare rebate and our practice’s fee.
How will the fee be processed?
You will be charged the full amount of consultation fee to your credit or debit card at the end of your consultation. We then, process your Medicare Rebate on behalf of you electronically.
The rebate should appear in your bank account within 1-2 business days.
Alternatively, please bring your debit card with you on your visit and we can process your rebate on the spot.
Please make sure you have provided your updated Medicare details and sufficient fund in your account.
