Requesting Medical Records from Myhealth Coomera

If you are requesting medical records for the now closed Myhealth Coomera location, please send a signed and completed "Medical Records Request Form" from your new treating GP to: Foxwell.reception@myhealth.net.au and a copy of your records can be sent to your new practitioner for your ongoing care.

APPOINTMENTS & WAITING TIMES

Consultation is by appointment. Patients must make an appointment to see a doctor. If you have more than one health concern or a complex issue to discuss, please request a longer appointment at the time of booking. Same day appointments are available for urgent cases. A separate appointment must be made for each family member. Appointments can be made in person, online or over the phone (Walk-in appointments available).

Please let our receptionist know if you require prompt attention for matters such as chest pain, burns, eye injury etc. For patients seen at the practice within the past 12 months, we can conduct consultations by video or telephone.

Nobody likes to be kept waiting. Our staff understand this and endeavour to manage all appointments as punctually as possible. However, due to the unpredictable nature of a medical practice – doctors do frequently run behind time. We regret any inconvenience caused due to these delays.

Please feel free to contact our surgery staff to confirm whether your doctor is running on time BEFORE you arrive for your appointment. For continuity of care it is recommended to see your usual doctor, however, if they are unavailable you are welcome to see one of the other doctors in the practice.

Myhealth Foxwell Road is a mixed billing practice. All patients with a current Medicare Card may incur an additional out of pocket expense.

Pensioner and Health Card Holders will be charged a more modest out of pocket expense.
Children under 16 will be bulk billed.
Patients may be bulk billed at the discretion of their doctor, on a case by case basis.
Patients without a current Medicare Card, or any patient who requires a non-Medicare Rebateable consultation such as a report, will be required to pay a fee in full at the time of the consult.

Our fees reflect the quality of our service and vary according to the complexity of service, or if a procedure is performed. Payment can be made by cash, cheque, credit card or EFTPOS.

Bulk billing will continue for children under 16 years and patients with a valid Health Care or Pensioner Concession card.

Saturday billing: All patients aged 16 years and over without a valid concession card will be privately billed on Saturdays.

DNA / Cancellation Policy

On the occasion that you do not attend a scheduled appointment there will be a $40 DNA fee charged. To avoid any fees please call the clinic at least 1 hour before your appointment and advise that you need to cancel your appointment.
