About Myhealth Mortlake Medical Centre

Myhealth Mortlake Medical Centre is a state-of-the-art medical practice located in a purpose-built facility, offering general practice, allied health, nursing care and specialist paediatric services.

Formally known as MedPlaza, the practice was established in 2006 as the first medical centre in the Mortlake/Breakfast Point area. Over the years, it has built strong, long-standing relationships with patients and the local community.

Now operating as Myhealth Mortlake Medical Centre, we remain committed to providing exceptional, patient-centred care, giving you the time and attention you need while continuing to offer a comprehensive and trusted range of medical services.

Our Aviation Medical Appointments are only available by calling our lovely reception team, we do not currently offer online bookings for these. Please call 02 8765 0777 to make your Aviation Medical Appointment today.

We request in the event that you need to change or cancel your appointment that you provide us with 24hrs notice in advance. Walk-in appointments are accepted and triaged on arrival.

Pricing

Myhealth Mortlake is a MIXED BILLING practice. The GPs providing services at Myhealth Mortlake Medical Centre charge a fee payable at the time of the consultation. Bulk-billing is available for consultations for children up to age 15 with a valid Medicare card and DVA card holders.

Each doctor determines their own fees, including charging of 'discounted fees' or bulk-billing of other patients such as Commonwealth Concession cardholders (pensioner, disability) or Commonwealth Seniors Health Care Card holder. If your GP bulk-bills your consultations please note that this arrangement may not apply if you are seeing another GP at this practice.

The fees apply to all consultations including in-surgery, video and phone consultations.

Cancellation Policy

If an appointment is not cancelled at least 24 hours before the appointment time, there will be a $50 cancellation fee for standard appointments and $75 cancellation fee for long appointments and procedures.

The cancellation fee must be paid before the patient is allowed to see any doctor going forward. This is to ensure appointments are cancelled in a timely manner to ensure other patients have the opportunity to see a doctor too.
