Important Update to Weekend Billing Policy – Effective 1st June 2025
Starting from 1st June 2025, all weekend appointments will incur a weekend gap fee, including for concession/pension card holders and children, who are currently bulk billed.

Fees
Myhealth Redfern is a bulk billing practice. We bulk bill appointments for all medicare patients.
For procedures, vaccinations, iron infusions and other services there may be out of pocket (gap) fees.
Appointments for non-medicare patients (except for Medibank insurance holders) will attract gap fees.
Non-medicare consultation gap fee:
Weekdays: $40
Weekend: $60
Cardiologist fees:
Health Care Card/Concession Card holders
Initial consultation: $325 ($153.15 after medicare rebate)
Follow up consultation: $175 ($100.75 after medicare rebate)
All other patients
Initial consultation: $425 ($253.15 after medicare rebate)
Follow up consultation: $200 ($125.75 after medicare rebate)
Cardiologist ECG: $75 ($51.50 after medicare rebate)
Non-Attendance / Cancellation Policy
Not attending a booked appointment affects both the practice and other patients' ability to secure bookings. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. If you are unable to attend, please inform us as soon as possible so we can offer the time slot to another patient.
If you do not notify us in advance and miss your appointment, a reminder message will be sent for the first two occurrences. If a third appointment is missed without notice, a $60 no-show fee will apply. Please note that no further appointments can be booked until this fee is settled.
Psychologist Appointments
A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel a psychology appointment. If sufficient notice is not provided, the full fee of $215 will be charged.
Cardiologist Appointments
A minimum of 24 hours' notice is also required to cancel a cardiologist appointment. If cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, a $50 non-attendance fee will apply.
