Flu Vaccine 2025: Book Your Flu Shot Today
Stay protected this flu season. Yearly influenza vaccination is recommended for everyone aged six months and older. Book your appointment now to help protect yourself and those around you.
Who is eligible for a free flu vaccination?
Flu vaccines are provided free of charge under the National Immunisation Program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged six months and over, children aged six months to under five years, pregnant women at any stage of pregnancy, adults aged 65 years and over, and people aged six months and over with medical conditions that put them at higher risk of serious illness. Consult with your Myhealth GP to confirm your eligibility and learn more about what’s available in your area.
When should I get my flu vaccination?
To give the vaccine time to take effect, it’s best to get your flu shot as early as possible. Getting vaccinated early helps ensure you’re protected throughout the peak of flu season. Don’t wait, book your appointment today.

COVID-19 & OTHER INFECTIOUS DISEASES POLICY:
If you have any one or more of the following symptoms- sore joints throat, runny nose, blocked nose, coughs, sneezes, fevers, body aches, chills
- First book a Telehealth appointment - the doctor can arrange a self-collection PCR.
- We DO NOT accept negative RAT. ONLY PCR accepted.
- Once negative PCR is confirmed, you may book a face to face appointment.
- Masks are MANDATORY in the practice (waiting room and doctor’s room) if you have any of the above symptoms. Please bring your own mask.
Above is to protect vulnerable patients such as the elderly, children, pregnant ladies and the immunocompromised. Your consideration of others is highly appreciated.

About Myhealth Rhodes Medical Clinic
Myhealth Rhodes opened on 26th August 2015. It is located on Level 8 at Rhodes Waterside Shopping Centre. Access via elevators situated next to the cinemas.
We are part of a comprehensive medical precinct – encompassing Radiology, Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Exercise physiology, Podiatry, Psychological services, Dietetics, Lactational services, Gastroenterology/Hepatology specialist services, Dental and Pathology collection.

GAP FEE CHANGES FROM 1ST JULY 2025
WEEKDAYS
- Standard consultation <15mins $40 gap
- Long consultation 15-30mins $50 gap
- Extended consultation >30mins $60 gap
SATURDAYS: All consultations $45 gap (NO EXCEPTIONS)
SUNDAYS AND PUBLIC HOLIDAYS: All consultations $55 gap
(NO EXCEPTIONS)
We will continue to bulk-bill the following during weekdays:
- Children <16 years old
- Health Care Card, Pensioner
- Concession Card and DVA Card holders
Our Current Fees are as follows:
- Weekdays: $35 Gap (With Exceptions)
- Saturdays: $40 Gap Applies To All (No Exceptions)
- Sundays & Holidays: $50 Gap Applies To All (No Exceptions)
The following patients will continue to be bulk-billed with no gap fee (Monday to Friday Only):
- Age <16
- Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card, and DVA Card holders
- Care plans for Chronic Disease
Cancellation Policy
If an appointment is not cancelled at least 4 hours before the appointment time, there will be a $50 cancellation fee for standard appointments and $75 cancellation fee for long appointments and procedures.
The cancellation fee must be paid before the patient is allowed to see any doctor going forward. This is to ensure appointments are cancelled in a timely manner to ensure other patients have the opportunity to see a doctor too.
