Who is eligible for a free flu vaccination?
Flu vaccines are provided free of charge under the National Immunisation Program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged six months and over, children aged six months to under five years, pregnant women at any stage of pregnancy, adults aged 65 years and over, and people aged six months and over with medical conditions that put them at higher risk of serious illness. Consult with your Myhealth GP to confirm your eligibility and learn more about what’s available in your area.
When should I get my flu vaccination?
To give the vaccine time to take effect, it’s best to get your flu shot as early as possible. Getting vaccinated early helps ensure you’re protected throughout the peak of flu season. Don’t wait, book your appointment today.

Important Announcement: Changes to Gap Fees Effective 1st March 2025
Dear Valued Patients,
Please be advised that from 1st March 2025, there will be an adjustment to our gap fees:
Weekdays (Monday–Friday)
- Short Consultation: $30 gap fee
- Long/Complex Consultation: $50 gap fee
- Patients with concession cards will continue to be bulk-billed where applicable.
Saturdays
- Gap fee: $30–$50 (determined at the GP’s discretion).
- Applies to all patients, including concession cardholders.
Sundays & Public Holidays
- $50 gap fee for all consultations, regardless of concession status.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support. If you have any questions, please speak with our reception team.
Non-Attendance / Cancellation Policy
A $50 fee will be applied for no-shows or cancellations with less than 2 hours' notice. Please note that you will be unable to see a GP until the fee is paid. If 3 or more appointments are missed, online booking will be disabled, and future appointments will need to be scheduled by phone.
