Bulk Billing Update – Effective 1 November 2025

Starting 1 November 2025, our practice will bulk bill all Medicare-eligible patients for all consultations, including weekends.

Please note that the following GPs are currently not able to take new patients: Dr Nasima Kalam, Dr Atiya Ghalib and Zahirul Chowdhury.

Dr Mohamad Alshurafa is still taking new patients at this time.

Updated Billing Policy – In Line with the Medicare Universal Bulk Billing Initiative

From November 1, 2025 our billing policy has been updated to align with the new Medicare bulk billing initiative, providing Medicare-eligible patients the opportunity to access high-quality care with no out-of-pocket costs.

Please be sure to advise reception at the time of booking if you have a Health Care/Concession/Pension or DVA card, so we can add these to your files and avoid any unnecessary charges.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to speak with one of our friendly staff members.

Non-Attendance / Cancellation Policy

A $20 fee will be applied for non-attendance if less than 2 hours' notice is given.
