Dr Amali Fernando Navaratna

Dr. Amali has interest in most aspects of General Practice including women’s and children’s health, mental health, and Dermatology. She performs minor skin procedures including skin excisions and Implanon insertion and removals. She takes a holistic approach to her patient care and has a special interest in managing chronic disease- specially Diabetes. She has 15 years of experience in the medical profession and has worked in various metropolitan and regional hospitals in NSW. She completed her Diploma in Child health with the University of Sydney and Sydney Children’s hospital network. She is a Fellow of the RACGP and worked as a GP VMO with Western Sydney Diabetes team in 2021.

Amali is a mum of 2 and likes spending whatever quiet time with a good book or spending outdoors. She also enjoys Art, Dance and Music.
