Meet Dr Angela Jean
Dr Angela Jean believes that good medicine starts with listening, clear communication, and shared decision-making. She enjoys partnering with patients to understand their concerns, explain their options clearly, and develop practical, evidence-based care plans together.
She graduated from the University of Queensland and has worked across emergency medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, and regional hospitals before commencing general practice. She also holds a Diploma in Obstetrics and Women's Health and is currently undertaking specialist training in general practice.
She enjoys caring for patients of all ages, with particular interests in women's health, family medicine, preventive care, and chronic disease management. She is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care and strives to create a welcoming environment where every patient feels heard, respected, and supported.
Outside of medicine, Angela enjoys travelling, music, and good coffee. She performs with the Queensland Medical Orchestra and Choir, where she continues her ongoing mission to revive whatever artistic creativity may have survived medical school.
