    Meet Dr Catherine Tan

    Dr Catherine Tan completed her medical degree at the University of New South Wales ( UNSW) and has worked in both metropolitan and rural hospitals across NSW . She is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners ( RACGP), an RACGP examiner, as well as GP supervisor for registrars.

    Dr Tan has participated in aesthetics courses both locally and abroad (South Korea) such as tailored aesthetic injections and advanced platelet rich plasma (PRP) for facial , neck and hair rejuvenation by the International Fellowship in Advanced Aesthetic Science ( IFAAS). She has also completed the combined foundation and advanced aesthetics course by Derma Institute.

    She has obtained the Diploma of Child Health and also the National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health by Family Planning Alliance Australia (FPAA).

    She has a special interests in the following areas:
    • Treatment of excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) with anti-sweat injections 
    • Cosmetic consultations 
    • Treatment of teeth grinding and bruxism
    • Chronic disease management
    • Diabetes
    • Implanon insertion
    • Minor skin procedures
    • Workcover and Pre employment
    • Women and child health
