Meet Dr Elizabeth Ashton-Jones
Libby received her Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery in 2013 from Griffith University and returned to Sydney thereafter, working in Nepean Hospital while studying for her Masters of Public Health. She has worked in various hospitals, from Ryde Hospital, to Northside Clinic during her years as a doctor, and feels it gives her a breadth of understanding for her patients. Libby commenced her GP training in 2017 with Your Doctors, and returns to complete her extended skills training. During this time, she has developed a special interest in women’s health, having completed the National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health, though she also has a keen interest in early childhood, lactation medicine, preventive medicine and mental health. Above all, she enjoys getting to know her patients and their families. Outside of the office, Libby is kept very busy with her 2 young children, mostly watching intensive impromptu dance recitals or preventing balls from being thrown inappropriately at the dog!
