Dr Kristi Akhi Mandal

Kristi is a GP registrar with a strong foundation in rural healthcare, having trained at James Cook University in Townsville, a prestigious medical school known for its focus on rural practice.

She then completed two years of residency at Gold Coast University Hospital, where she developed a particular interest in paediatrics, internal medicine, and refined her skills in general surgery, including hands-on suturing.

Kristi is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centred care and is eager to continue advancing her medical career. Outside of work, she enjoys the beach, fitness, and spending time with her family and friends.
