Dr Lachlan Thompson

Dr Lachlan Thompson completed his Medical Degree at Griffith University in 2016, before completing his junior doctor years in Townsville and the Sunshine Coast. He spent a few years working in general medicine, surgery and emergency departments across Australia before obtaining his GP fellowship in 2023.

He enjoys every aspect of General practice, with special interests including womens and childrens health, chronic disease medicine and aged care.

He is registered with the Gold Coast GP Maternity Alignment program for pregnancy care, and also works part time in aged care.

Outside work he loves to spend time with his wife and two young children.
