Meet Dr Rohit Singh
Dr Rohit Singh is a highly experienced Procedural General Practitioner who has been caring for Australian communities for over 20 years. He is known for his compassionate, patient-centred approach and for building long-term, trusted relationships with individuals and families.
Dr Singh has undertaken extensive postgraduate medical training in Australia and North America. His broad clinical training includes Internal Medicine (with a focus on Cardiology), Paediatrics, Emergency Medicine, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology, providing him with a comprehensive and versatile skill set to manage a wide range of medical conditions.
Prior to entering full-time general practice, Dr Singh worked with Queensland Health as a Senior Medical Officer and Medical Superintendent, holding senior clinical and leadership roles across regional Queensland, including hospitals from the Sunshine Coast to Townsville. These roles provided extensive experience in emergency medicine, inpatient care, procedural medicine and rural healthcare.
Dr Singh has a particular passion for procedural general practice and offers a wide range of office-based procedures, allowing many conditions to be diagnosed and treated conveniently within the general practice setting. He has a special interest in skin cancer detection and surgical management, women's procedural health, and musculoskeletal medicine.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Singh has a longstanding passion for medical education. He has supervised and mentored General Practice Registrars and hospital Resident Medical Officers, and enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience with the next generation of doctors. He is committed to maintaining high standards of clinical excellence through teaching, lifelong learning and evidence-based practice.
