Dr Sanja Arcon

Special Interests: Family and Preventive Medicine, Women’s Health, Paediatrics, Positive Parenting, Nutrition, Implanon Insertion & Removal, IUCD Removal

Dr Sanja Arcon graduated from the University of Sarajevo in 1991, before obtaining her Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr Arcon spent thirteen years working in General Practice in southern NSW after which she moved to Victoria, and since living and working in Bayside.

She worked with the School of Medicine, University of Wollongong as a Senior Clinical Lecturer and is actively training medical students.

She is also fluent in Slavic languages and conversational in German.

Sanja has also interests in natural, whole food, low carbohydrate and sports nutrition. She holds a Certificate in Primary Care Positive Parenting Program, a world renowned program that helps make raising children easier and Certificate in Primary Skin Cancer Therapeutics.

Outside medicine Sanja enjoys tennis, skiing, travelling and supporting her athlete son to achieve his dreams.
