About the role

We're on the lookout for a friendly, confident, and passionate Registered Nurse to join our Urgent Care team on a full-time basis at our Top Ryde Clinic.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse who enjoys working in a clinical environment and is passionate about delivering high quality patient care. Working alongside our experienced GPs and healthcare team, you'll play a vital role in assessing, treating, and supporting patients presenting with a wide range of acute healthcare needs.

A day in the life:

• Respiratory assessment and management
• Wound care and dressing management
• Patient triage, referrals, and clinical assessments
• Observation monitoring and ongoing patient management
• Medical administration and clinical documentation
• Fracture and sprain management
• Performing ECGs and cardiac monitoring
• Responding to any acute onsite events
• Maintaining stock levels of emergency equipment, medications, dressings, and clinical consumables
• Working collaboratively with GPs and the wider healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes

What we're looking for:

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
• Previous experience in Urgent Care, Emergency or Acute Care
• Strong clinical assessment and triage skills
• Confidence managing acute presentations
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
