Meet Dr Wissam Soubra
Dr Soubra is a registered podiatrist with a combined of over 25 years of clinical experience delivering accessible and equitable health care to diverse patient populations across Australia — including patients with high-risk foot conditions and First Nations peoples.
Dr Soubra leads a comprehensive lower limb program encompassing diabetic foot care, regenerative medicine, biomechanical assessment, and ingrown nail surgical procedures.
Dr Soubra has special interests in the following areas of clinical podiatry:
Diabetic foot disease management — high-risk foot assessment, neurovascular examination, Doppler ABI/TBI, peripheral vascular disease screening, and ulcer prevention
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy — over 10 years of PRP experience in collaboration with referring GPs, for lower limb tendinopathies, plantar fasciitis, and knee osteoarthritis, with ultrasound-guided injection technique
Biomechanical assessment and custom orthotic prescription — with clinical expertise in gait analysis, lower limb biomechanics, sports podiatry, and children's walking problems
Nail surgery — partial and total nail avulsion (PNA/TNA) for chronic ingrown toenail conditions.
