Flu Vaccine 2025: Book Your Flu Shot Today

Who is eligible for a free flu vaccination?
Flu vaccines are provided free of charge under the National Immunisation Program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged six months and over, children aged six months to under five years, pregnant women at any stage of pregnancy, adults aged 65 years and over, and people aged six months and over with medical conditions that put them at higher risk of serious illness. Consult with your Myhealth GP to confirm your eligibility and learn more about what’s available in your area.
When should I get my flu vaccination?
To give the vaccine time to take effect, it’s best to get your flu shot as early as possible. Getting vaccinated early helps ensure you’re protected throughout the peak of flu season. Don’t wait, book your appointment today.
GAP FEE TO INCREASE ON SATURDAY ONLY COMMENCING 26TH APRIL 2025
Commencing 26 April 2025, all Saturday consultations including vaccinations performed will incur a GAP FEE of $60.00. This applies to Medicare card holders and patients that have OSHC / OVHC Private health cover.
Telehealth calls will also incur a gap fee of $60.00.
Patients that have a Government health care card, pension card, seniors health care card will be exempt from the Gap fee and will continue to be bulk billed.
Dr Glory Jeon - Gap Fee
Please be advised that, commencing 28th April 2025, Dr Glory Jeon will apply a gap fee of $60.00 for face-to-face consultations from Monday to Friday.
Telehealth consultations will continue to be bulk billed.
In Budget 2023, while Medicare increases the Bulk Billing Incentives to reflect the rising cost of rent, utilities, and medical supplies, this increase only applies to children under the age of 16, pensioners and concession card holders. Considering the young/working demographics of Myhealth Central Park, we have no choice but to change our bulk-billing policy in order to maintain the high quality of medical care. Please discuss with us if you are experiencing financial hardship. Please see our Pricing/Fees section below.

About Myhealth Central Park Medical Clinic
Myhealth Central Park opened its doors in October 2013. It is located in the exciting new Central Park complex (next door to Ribs & Burgers). We are a Bulk Billing practice* and offer additional allied health services in one convenient location – including Pathology, Physiotherapy and Psychology.
For your added convenience we also accept online bookings.

If you have any cold and flu symptoms, please make a Telehealth consult with a doctor first. Due to limited resources, our doctors may not be able to see you face to face without prior arrangements if you have any cold and flu symptoms.

WEEKDAY Consultation Fee Update – Effective 4 August 2025
Please note the following changes to our WEEKDAY consultation fees for Medicare and OVHC patients, effective 4 August 2025:
- No changes to fees for OSHC and private patients.
- No changes to weekend consultation fees.
Face-to-Face (F2F) Appointments
- Standard: $45 gap fee
- With Dr Glory Jeon: $60 gap fee
Telehealth Appointments (for Medicare and OVHC eligible patients)
- $30 gap fee
- If you are registered with MyMedicare, you will be entitled to three bulk-billed telehealth consultations per calendar year starting 4 August 2025.
- Any additional telehealth consultations beyond the initial three will incur the applicable gap fee.

New: Bulk-Billed Virtual STI Clinic Service
Available to eligible Medicare, OVHC, and OSHC patients.
No MyMedicare registration required.
Telehealth services with no gap fee include:
- STI testing/screening requests
- STI results
- STI treatments
- PREP and DoxyPEP prescriptions
Please note: A face-to-face consultation may be required for any clinical presentation that needs a physical examination.
Non-Attendance / Cancellation Policy
There is no cancellation fee for GP appointments.
For physiotherapy, a cancellation fee of half the consultation fee applies if cancelled within 24 hours.
For dietitian appointments, a $50 cancellation fee applies if cancelled within 24 hours after the appointment has been confirmed.
