Graduated from Monash University (MBBS) in 2009 and obtained a Diploma in Surgical Anatomy (DipSurgAnat) from the University of Melbourne in 2012. In 2017, he became a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). He has a special interest in preventative medicine and is a member of Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine (ASLM) and the American College of Preventative Medicine (ACPM). Over the past 4 years, he has been extensively involved in organising and speaking for community health awareness programs in Melbourne.

He lives locally with his wife, and together they enjoy travelling and serving at their local church.
