Meet Dr Carmen Yau
Dr Carmen graduated from Monash University in 2009 and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2015. She also hold a Diploma in Child Health from the University of Sydney (Westmead).
She enjoys all aspects of general practice and has particular interests in child and adolescent health, women’s health, and breastfeeding medicine. She is experienced in Implanon insertions and removals.
She also works at the Mater Refugee Complex Care Clinic and has a strong interest in supporting the health and wellbeing of refugee and asylum seeker communities.
Dr Carmen is fluent in Cantonese and is happy to conduct consultations in Cantonese.
