Dr Simon Chan

Dr Simon Chan is a GP Registrar who will be commencing his General Practice training at Myhealth Northmead. He completed his hospital training across several busy and diverse clinical settings including, Westmead Hospital, The Children's Hospital at Westmead and Coffs Harbour Health Campus. Working in these high-demand environments has provided him with a strong clinical foundation and broad exposure to both adult and paediatric medicine.

Through his hospital experience, Simon has developed a thoughtful and patient-centred approach to care, with a focus on clear communication, continuity and holistic management. He particularly values building rapport with patients and supporting individuals and families through all stages of life. 

Simon has a keen interest in paediatrics and men's health and he is enthusiastic about continuing to develop his skills across the full scope of General Practice under the guidance of experienced senior clinicians. He remains committed to ongoing learning and evidence-based care as he progresses through his GP training. 

Outside of medicine, Simon enjoys staying active through sports such as basketball and tennis. He also enjoys exploring nature and playing games. He looks forward to caring for the local community and forming long-term relationships with his patients.
