Who is eligible for a free flu vaccination?
Flu vaccines are provided free of charge under the National Immunisation Program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged six months and over, children aged six months to under five years, pregnant women at any stage of pregnancy, adults aged 65 years and over, and people aged six months and over with medical conditions that put them at higher risk of serious illness. Consult with your Myhealth GP to confirm your eligibility and learn more about what’s available in your area.
When should I get my flu vaccination?
To give the vaccine time to take effect, it’s best to get your flu shot as early as possible. Getting vaccinated early helps ensure you’re protected throughout the peak of flu season. Don’t wait, book your appointment today.

About Myhealth Garden City Medical Clinic
Myhealth Garden City is a medical centre situated in the popular Westfield Shopping Centre in Mt Gravatt. Our medical centre is located on level 2, underneath the library at the cinema end of the shopping centre. There is a concierge desk near the food court (next to Starbucks coffee and Michael Hills Jeweller), where you can ask for directions. It is located approximately 30m behind the concierge desk.
Our Medical Centre is open to the public Monday through Saturday and we service the wider Mt Gravatt region including Holland Park, Mansfield and Salisbury through to Rochedale and Runcorn.
Our doctors and registered nurse welcome everyone for their general practice needs.

Cancellation / Non-Attendance Policy
If you cannot attend your appointment please call 07 3349 4504 to cancel or reschedule, at least 24 hours prior to the appointment time so we can offer it to another patient. If you fail to attend the appointment, a fee of $50 will be incurred before you can attend our practice again. For long appointments and after hours appointments, the fee is $80 due to the time missed. This fee is payable before any future appointments can be made at the practice and is not covered by medicare.

We also offer an after-hours service, provided by the National Home Doctors. If you require after-hours assistance, please call the after-hours care team on 13 SICK, (13 7425). The doctors at Garden City service the wider Mt Gravatt vicinity, including Holland Park, Mansfield, and Salisbury through to the areas of Rochedale and Runcorn.
Please note Myhealth Garden City has a strict cancellation policy. When you book an appointment, you agree to this policy. If you fail to attend the booked appointment, it will be noted as a did not attend (DNA) and a $40 DNA fee will be charged. We appreciate it if you can notify us in advance if you cannot attend your appointment, as we are not able to fill cancelled appointments at short notice. Please consult the site for more details relating to the full attendance policy, and if you require any further information about this policy or any other service please contact reception, who will be happy to assist.
