Myhealth Enfield Infusion Service is an open-access clinic, allowing general practitioners and specialists alike to refer patients directly to us for iron infusions.
Patients need to book a standard consultation with Dr Lau prior to booking an iron infusion. During the consult, the consent process and a script for the iron medication will be given to you to purchase from your local pharmacy.
Our iron infusion service attracts a private fee of $180. There is no medicare rebate available for this fee.
Please ensure a valid prescription has been issued to your patients. They are required to fill the script and bring their medication to the clinic. Oral iron supplements should be ceased for 7 days prior to an iron infusion.
